AFTON— The Afton Crimson Knights softball team hosted MAC league opponent Delhi on Monday, where the Crimson Knights came away with a close 4-3 victory.

Jenna Wilson was stellar on the mound for Afton to hold the Bulldogs, where she tossed seven strikeouts and even helped herself with an RBI.

Makenna Schultz went three-for-three and scored two runs as Emilie Hopkins had a hit and drove in three runs.

McKenna Ross and Miranda Schultz also contributed with hits in the game as Megan Racine held runners on the bag behind the plate for the defense.

Afton (7-3) heads to Walton/Downsville this afternoon at 4:30 p.m.
