S-E track and field competes at Section III, Class C-1 championship
HOLLAND PATENT— The Sherburne-Earlville Timberwolves track and field teams traveled to Holland Patent to compete in the Section III, Class C-1 championships. The S-E girls tied for 12th with two points while the boys finished 11th with eight points.

Girls' Track:
Junior Marlie Thompson took fifth in the girls' outdoor pentathlon with 1445 points overall. She came in sixth in the 100 meter hurdles with a time of 20.97 seconds.
She finished fourth in the high jump, clearing 1.25m. She threw for 5.68m for seventh place in the shot put and jumped 3.84m in the long jump for fourth.
Lastly, she took fifth in the 800 meter run with a time of 3:03.19.
Laila Babcock came in ninth in the 100 meter hurdles with a time of 17.73.
Shaelan Ryan earned a 10th place finish in the 2000 meter steeplechase with a time of 8:49.50 with Emma Reinhardt in 13th with a time of 9:35.57.
Babcock also competed in the 400 meter hurdles, where the freshman also came in ninth with a time of 1:13.04.
She also competed in the high jump, where she cleared four feet, eight inches for eighth place.
Boys'Track:
Victor Smith came in fourth place in the 100 meter dash with a time of 11.71 seconds and also finished fourth in the 200 meter dash with a time of 23.74 seconds.
Isaac Larchar earned a top 10 finish in the 800 meter run with a time of 2:13.90.
