OXFORD— After a rainout in the first PONY game of the summer season against Delhi, it was a cloudy day and a good night for baseball on Monday night. Oxford hosted Cooperstown, where they fell 14-4.

Oxford fought back in the bottom of the fourth inning, but the Hawkeyes 16U team scored two additional runs to end the game after five innings.

After Cooperstown got on the board on an RBI triple, Oxford tied it up as Joey Locke singled to lead off the bottom of the first. He then stole second and third and scored on Uri Tracy’s sac-fly to center field.
