SOUTH OTSELIC—The South Otselic Post 973 Legion ball team hosted George F. Riordan Post 974 on Friday, picking up a close 2-1 victory.

Both teams scored a run within the first two innings and the game was tied up until the fifth when South Otselic scored what would be the game-winner.

Post 973 scored two runs on seven hits with Caleb Loomis leading the way with two hits.

Lukas Schieferstein, Everett Bush, Logan Lounsberry, Jonah Baxter and Cooper Millett each had one hit with Bush and Millett collecting RBIs.

Dylan Foster pitched a complete game for South Otselic, where he allowed one earned run on three hits, one walk, and struck out 10 batters in the win.

South Otselic Post 973 (6-7) hosts Binghamton Post 1645 on Tuesday at 6 p.m.
