Norwich and Windsor boys soccer ends in a tie after OT

NORWICH– The Norwich Purple Tornado boys’ soccer team faced off against Windsor for the second time this season on Monday night. Both teams played a competitive contest ending in a 1-1 tie after overtime.

Patrick Mulwane scored midway through the second half to give Norwich a 1-0. Windsor scored with five minutes left in regulation.

Neither team could go ahead in extras.

“We had a very good amount of chances to score a goal in OT, we just could not find the net,” Coach Michael Oberg said.

Norwich hosts Waverly Wednesday at 5 p.m.
