DELHI — The Oxford Blackhawks girls’ soccer team returned right to action on Tuesday on the road against Delhi. Oxford earned their first win of the 2026 season with a 1-0 shutout victory against the Bulldogs.

Emily Williams scored the lone goal of the game off an assist by Sadie Lang.

“We had a huge bounce-back win tonight,” Coach Rachel Seiler said. “After a slow start, the girls turned it up in the second half with some fantastic passing and unbelievable teamwork. The coaching staff is incredibly proud of how everyone came together to get the victory.”

Oxford (1-2) hosts Walton/Downsville on Thursday at 6:30 p.m.
