POLAND — On Wednesday, the Sherburne-Earlville Cross Country team traveled to compete at Poland. The varsity boys earned three wins against incomplete NY Mills, Hamilton, and Remsen teams.

Boys:

Dominick Hirst led the S-E boys with a fourth place finish with a time of 17:53.9 as Clifford Russett followed in fifth place with a time of 18:01.5.

Aaron Romanowski earned an eighth place finish with a time of 18:40.5 with Brett Lewis in 11th with a time of 19:11.4. Victor Smith, Logan Smith, Silas Perrin, and Trevor Harris all finished 15th, 16th, 17th, and 18th respectively.

Girls:

Out of 17 female runners on the day, S-E was led by Isabel MaGrath and Aurora Burk. MaGrath, a freshman, took second with a time of 21:50.5, behind leading 21:46.1. Burk, a senior, came in 11th place with a time of 27:18.1.
