WALTON— The Greene Trojans girls’ soccer team resumed MAC league play against Walton/Downsville on the road on Friday. Greene stayed hot with a 7-0 shutout victory to remain unbeaten through five games played.

It was a full-team effort with multiple scorers for the Trojans. Hailey Butler, Caitlin Walls, Ella Beach, Ali Fisher, Khloe Waltz, Miah Cragle, and even goalkeeper Quinlin Cavanaugh, who got some playing time offensively, scored goals. Walls, Cavanaugh, Lexi Cloyd, Melanie Specht, and Abi Roth each picked up assists in the win.

Greene (5-0) hosts Delhi this evening at 7 p.m.
