WALTON — The Oxford boys’ soccer team took on Walton/Downsville on the road on Monday, where the Blackhawks returned with a 8-2 victory. W/D took an early lead before the Blackhawks tied it and even took a 3-2 lead at the break.

Oxford powered through in the second half to score six unanswered goals. Gordon Smith added on to his total with four goals and an assist while Paxton LaMonica netted in two goals and poured out two assists.

Dawson Viele had a goal and an assist and Joey Locke scored a goal in the win.

Oxford (5-1) heads to play BGAH in Afton on Wednesday at 4:30 p.m.
