Greene boys falls to Marathon
GREENE — The Greene Trojans boys’ soccer team showed toughness against fierce opponent Marathon on Monday night, but fell 3-1 in the non-league matchup. The Trojans outshot the Olympians 9-6 and had seven corner kicks throughout the game, but could only net one goal by Judd Dutcher.
Goalkeeper Jackson Roth made three saves in the loss.
Greene (4-3) heads to Southern Cayuga on Thursday at 5 p.m.
