CONKLIN — The Norwich Purple Tornado golf team traveled to the Conklin Players Club on Thursday to take on Sus Valley. Norwich defeated the Sabers 219-241 to pick up their seventh win of the season.

Both Brevin Bennett and Matthew Brunick led all golfers with a match low 37 on the par 36.

Charlie Smith followed with a 44 as Jacob Lobdell shot a 50. Payne Skillin and Kinnon Bennett both finished with 51s in the win.

Norwich (7-1) heads to Oneonta on Monday at 4 p.m. with only a few matches remaining on the regular season.
