Dispute leads to arrest over illegal stun gun
GUILFORD – On Jan. 23, 2016 at approximately 2:52 a.m. The New York State Police at Sidney arrested Justin H. Lowe, 32, of Guilford.
Lowe was ultimately charged with criminal possession of a weapon in the fourth degree, a misdemeanor.
This arrest occurred after The NYS Troopers responded to a dispute on Old State Highway 8 in the Town of Guilford.
While investigating this dispute, Lowe was allegedly found to unlawfully possess a stun gun, which are illegal in New York State.
Lowe was not remanded to the Chenango County Correctional Facility.
Lowe was issued a ticket returnable to the Town of Guilford Court for Jan. 28, 2016.
