Family Night at the Oxford Library: Hat’s Off to Dr. Seuss
OXFORD – NEA's Read Across America Day is a nationwide reading celebration that annually takes place on March 2, which also happens to be Dr. Seuss’ birthday. All across the country, thousands of schools, libraries, and community centers participate by bringing together kids, teens, and books to celebrate the love of reading with young people.
The Oxford Memorial Library doesn’t want to be left out of the celebrations, and it just so happens that its March Family Night falls on this day.
March 2 at 6:30 p.m., the library will hold its “Hat’s Off To Dr. Seuss” Family Night. Attendees can listen and watch, or even participate, as favorite Dr. Seuss books are read and acted out for by the Library staff and volunteers.
