Norwich girls come away with wins at Ithaca; Varsity dominates

ITHACA— The Norwich Purple Tornado girls’ basketball teams traveled to take on non-league opponent Ithaca in the final 2025-26 regular season game. Both the Norwich JV and Varsity teams picked up exciting wins.
JV, led by McKenzie Brunick with 20 points and buckets when it mattered most with great timing and precision, rallied past Ithaca 56-52.
Varsity dominated against Ithaca with a 56-35 victory and now await Sectionals.
Josey Ryan led Norwich with 24 points, including 17 points in the first half. Emma Urgo added 13 points and Brooklyn Burke finished with six points in the win.
